Meet the leaf team
leaf has an outstanding team of highly qualified and experienced therapists. They are all committed to our programme of continuing professional development to ensure our clients benefit from the highest standards of skilled treatments and client care.
Jan and Fiona worked in postgraduate legal education (Jan's the lawyer, Fiona’s the marketeer) and spent so much time travelling that they became friends and found they shared a dream. After one missed flight (Fiona's fault), a trip to the Black Forest, masses of business planning (Jan loves a plan!), and more laughter than they ever thought possible, Leaf Lifestyle and Beauty opened in 2008.
Emma graduated with a BSc(Hons) in Health Sciences Complementary Therapies and also holds NVQ level 3 in Beauty Therapy. She has 10 years’ experience and has worked in the Harrods’ day spa and a 5* spa in Scotland. Emma is also a volunteer therapist for the ‘Look Good Feel Better’ charity that runs skincare and make-up workshops for women undergoing chemotherapy.

Fiona Burman Hopkins
John is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist and life coach, and a member of the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. With clients from the Wirral to Lancashire, as well as his clinic at leaf, he describes his role as enabling people to make the changes they want to see in their lives.
Karen is qualified to NVQ level 3, and has 14 years’ experience in the spa industry and thanks to Environ skincare is often asked to produce ID! She has a wide range of expertise in massage and holistic therapies, skincare and beauty. She joined leaf from a leading hotel on the Wirral where she managed a very successful spa.
Lynn qualified in Dublin and trained under some of the best therapists in the business. She has more than 10 years’ experience including spells in New York and South America. She joined leaf from a leading salon in Dublin where she had a strong celebrity following for her make-up, skincare and waxing skills. We are delighted she has brought her talents across the water.
Sara Jones
Sara is a former world champion athlete and a Registered General Nurse with an orthopaedic specialism. She offers sports massage, reflexology, reiki and body stretching. She is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the International Council of Health, Fitness and Sports Therapists and the Association of Holistic Therapists.
Dr Paul Burgess is a Welshman and trained in Manchester. He is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, currently completing his training to become a consultant plastic surgeon, and founder of Allure Facial Rejuvenation Ltd. Dr Burgess offers a bespoke service using only the most advanced and effective treatments MORE.....
Mandy graduated with first class honours from The College of Traditional Acupuncture in Warwick. She runs a very successful clinic at leaf treating a range of conditions. She also works alongside a leading consultant gynaecologist in Manchester, using acupuncture to support patients undergoing IVF. Mandy is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Northwest Acupuncture Fertility Network. MORE.....
Heulwen Williams
Heulwen is a highly experienced professional having practised for several years in Australian osteopathic clinics. She offers remedial and deep tissue massage to treat musculoskeletal problems and injuries, and Myofascial Release using deep, slow strokes to treat the pain and injuries that affect mobility.
Fiona is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist and a mental health nurse with over 20 years experience. She is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the Complementary Medical Association. She also runs clinics in London and Birmingham.
